Representatives of the STIX and TAXII standards development squads will be on hand to present a threat intelligence sharing reality check. The panelists will talk to the clear need for companies and government agencies to gather and share intel relating to new or ongoing cyberattacks in a timely manner to minimize the risk of or avoid entirely the threat of a major breach. What is not clear, however, is why we still don't see a level of technological effort employed given strong, across-the-board support for adopting solutions like STIX and TAXII.

Hear insights and views on:

  • Why threat intelligence sharing is still a somewhat contentious discussion
  • What the cybersecurity community should be doing to enable solutions like STIX and TAXII to succeed
  • What is inhibiting organizations from adoption of these solutions
  • What cybersecurity vendors are doing to help the effort
  • Why organizations should continue to believe in information sharing and how to disprove contrary theories
  • And how to convert challenges into positive achievements.
